[DREAM SEQUENCE IN THREE]

[Linocut and Monoprinting]

[2019] [DREAM SEQUENCE IN THREE] [Linocut and Monoprinting]

Triptych of 19x24 monoprints on bristol board that show my attempts at capturing recurring dreamscapes that I often visit, accompanied by the many doors of my childhood homes.

Some have recurring dreams, but I have found that it is the location, not the storyline that repeats when I sleep. Click in to read a bit more about each locale!

[ANIMAL PORTRAITURE]

[Acrylic on Wood Panels]

[2024] [ANIMAL PORTRAITURE] [Acrylic on Wood Panels]

Post Grad and looking for gifting ideas, I began making pet portraits for friends and family. They quickly became by go-to when looking for a sentimental or heartwarming gift to make for a loved one (who doesn’t love a handmade gift). I was able to then begin taking commissions from families in my neighborhood and friends-of-a-friend. Eventually signing up for art sales and Brookline Open Studio to offer my commission work to a broader audience.

Color and emotion were important to me when creating these works; It wasn’t about creating a photorealistic piece but getting to know the animal and their personality, hoping that I would be. able to capture their likeness by knowing them through images, videos and conversations with my clients first.
